My mother Smt. Susmita DasGupta Bed no 322 was operated for cholelithiasis and Spigelian hernia by Dr. Purnendu Ray on 23rd Dec. He was very clear in guiding us before and after the operation and we owe my mother’s successful operation to Dr. Ray. I am grateful to him for such a seamless experience.
I also wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Genesis Hospital medic and para-medic team for looking after Ma so well.

I heard about Dr. Roy from one of my friends while I was a bit confused in selecting a surgeon to operate gallbladder of my wife. Then I read more about Dr. Roy and his Genesis Hospital on the internet. I saw the video of an interview of Dr. Roy on YouTube with my wife and we did not know how, but the photograph of Dr. Roy focused very positive to us. In first week of July, 2016 we made an appointment to meet Dr. Roy. We appeared to him on the day of appointment with all document and test reports which we have already done for preparation of operation under guidance of another renowned surgeon but we could not continue there because of some other reasons. Dr. Roy did not talk much, just saw the reports and asked us to decide the date for the operation. The operation was done successfully by Dr. Roy in Genesis Hospital. My wife was released within 48 hours from hospital and she is OK now. There was a check-up date with doctor on 27.07.16 and it was Wednesday. Like every Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Roy appeared in the hospital`s auditorium in an awareness session with his patients and their relatives. It was really valuable moments to us attending there and Dr. Roy appears now to us not only good doctor but also a good humanitarian. Our heartful thanks and regards to him.
